On Friday September 11th our nation paused to remember the horrific events from 14 years ago that claimed the lives of almost 300 people. In the morning several members from Concordville traveled to Rose Tree Park to attend the Delaware County 9/11 Memorial Ceremony. The ceremony included speeches from County Council members as well as Senator Pat Toomey. During the event several Police Officers from Ridley Park, Norwood and Tinicum Township were awarded for their actions in an incident in August. After returning to Station Tower 59 was placed in the parking lot closest to Route 1 and the American Flag was displayed from its bucket. We have not nor will we ever forget those who died that day including our brothers in the FDNY.
