Accident with Entrapment closed Rt. 322 for three hours

On Saturday June 17th Concordville Fire Company was dispatched to an accident reported serious with entrapment. Upon arrival 597B found a small box truck on it's side with the driver attempting to climb out of the truck, a second vehicle with one occupant with heavy entrapment and a third vehicle which the driver was able to extract himself. Assistant 59 requested a second rescue from company 71 Chester Heights, a second medic unit.
The Crew from Rescue 59 was able to extricate the victim from the primary vehicle, Rescue 71 handled the fuel spill from the box truck on it's side. The Truck had to be emptied prior to being put back on it's wheels which caused the highway to be closed for a period of time.
