On Friday December 15th we took delivery of the New Engine 592. Our salesman, Jim Shuster pulled up to the station as over a dozen members watched and Chief Nelling backed the engine into the building for the first time.
The new Engine 592 is 2017 Seagrave Maurader Type II Pumper. Seating for 6 firefighters. 2000 gpm pump and 1000 gallons of water. 6 pre-connected 1.75 inch and 1 2.5 inch hand lines. The engine will carry a full complaint of engine company equipment as well as CO meters, medical and AED.
Additional information will be posted as we prepare to put the Engine into service early in 2018.
