Happy New Year from all of us at Concordville.
2017 found us to be very busy. We answered 989 fire responses and a combined total of 3351 EMS calls. While the fire totals were not at an all time high, it was an increase from 2016.
Our first task for the New Year will be placing our new 2017 Seagrave Marauder engine into service. This piece will be known as Engine 592 and will be the first out piece on a majority of our fire responses.
We are also looking forward to replacing two of our ambulances this year. The ambulances are the busiest vehicles in the station so frequent upgrades are necessary for us to provide a high level of EMS care to the community.
Also in 2018 we will be celebrating 90 years of service to the community. We would like to thank our neighbors for their support and trust and are looking forward to a mutually beneficial relationship for many years to come.
To all of our followers on our social media we are glad to have you and we invite you to continue to follow us. As always we are looking for new members; all the training is provided and it’s a great way to give back to your community.
Wishing you a happy and safe 2018!
The Officers and Members of Concordville Fire and Protective Association
