On Wednesday evening 9/4/19 Concordville was alerted to a automatic fire alarm at one of the multistory apartment complexes in Concord Township. As Engine 592 responded Delaware County Fireboard advised the engine that the call was being upgraded to a building fire as additional calls from residents reported smoke on the 4th floor. This added additional engine companies from Chester Heights and Bethel Township, additional truck companies from Rocky Run and Longwood and the Rapid Intervention Team from Boothwyn. Engine 592 arrived with nothing showing and found an odor and haze of smoke in the reported areas. Within a short time the issue was found to be a motor issue on a roof top HVAC unit, this unit was secured and the issue was turned over to property management for repairs.
