Shortly before 9pm Concordville Fire Co was dispatched to the 1600blk of Wilmington West Chester Pike for a reported building fire. Medic 597A arrived with fire showing from the Bravo (left side) of the building. Chief 599 requested a second alarm at this time. 59 units arrived and went to work on extinguishing the fire in the service department of the business. Fire was under control within 40 minutes and the last 59 units were off radio just after midnight. Fire is under investigation, there were no injuries. Thanks to our mutual aid companies for their assistance. While our units were committed on this incident Brookhaven Fire Co. covered our local and handled a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.
