on Thursday November 5 the crews from Bethel Hose, Company 66 and Concordville Fire Company conducted a live fire training drill at the West Chester Drill Tower. Each month on the First Thursday Concordville conducts live fire training to enhance our crews skills and knowledge of fire behavior. Areas of training include hose advancement, search and rescue, ventilation, truck operations and fire suppression. This past Thursday truck assignments for outside vent and inside search were conducted by both respective companies aerial devices as well as fire suppression. Training together allows each company to understand the others operations guidelines and to familiarize themselves with the opposite companies equipment locations and capabilities.
