Concordville assist Chester Heights at House Fire

At approximately 2p.m., Station 59 was dispatched to assist Company 71 (Chester Heights) with a house fire on the unit block of Wilson Drive. Chief 71 arrived on scene and reported fire from the second floor and attic area of the residence. Engine 59-2 responded to the scene, secured a water supply at a hydrant and supplied the fire scene with water. The crew from Engine 59-2 worked with the crews from Chester Heights, Aston Township (Station 17), Rocky Run (Station 46), Bethel Township (Station 66) and Media (RIT 23); using multiple hose lines and hand tools to extinguish the fire. The incident was placed under control in about an hour, no injuries were reported.
