Dwelling Fire in Concord Township

On Saturday evening Concordville Fire Company was dispatched to a building fire reported to be a working fire. Rescue 59 arrived to find a large ranch style home with the garage and roof of the structure well involved in fire. The crews from Rescue 59, Tower Ladder 59 and Engine 66 initiated an interior attack with two 1"3/4 hand lines for fire suppression. Crews from Tower 46 & Engine 71 opened the ceiling of the dwelling to allow for effective fire suppression. The crews were on location for three hours, there was no injuries. The fire is presently under investigation by the Concord Township Fire Marshal's office.
