| On June 24, 2013 at approximately 19:00 hours Company 59 was dispatched for a building fire, with the fire reported to be on the roof. First arriving units on scene found a large shed with smoke and fire showing. The large set back from the driveway required crews from 59-2 to stretch 300' of 3" supply line to the structure and advanced a 2" hose to the seat of the fire. Crews were able to contain the spread of the fire to the right side of the shed. Due to the lack of hydrants in the area, tankers from Chester County were requested for water supply. This was the second storm related fire of afternoon that Company 59 was dispatched and responded to. |
