On Thursday morning at 4:30 AM Concordville Fire and EMS crews were alerted to accident on Webb Road in Chadds Ford Township. MICU 59, Rescue 59 and Command 59 responded. The Concordville units arrived to find a single vehicle vs. a tree with the victim trapped inside the vehicle. The Crew from Rescue 59 removed both drivers side doors and assisted EMS in transferring the patient to the stretcher. Extrication took just under 20 minutes.
The patient was transported to CCMC Trauma Unit by the Concordville Ambulance.
The units were on scene for approximately an hour.
