Concord Township Building Fire

Concordville Fire Company was dispatched to a reported Building Fire involving an attached garage with possible entrapment at 2:30 AM Monday morning January 6th. Engine 592 & Deputy 59 arrived to find a garage fully involved with extension into the dwelling. In addition to the building, a large travel trailer and several cars were involved. The residents were able to self extricate from the building prior to the Fire Department arrival. The crews made an interior attack into the dwelling with a 21/2 inch attack line and were able to knock down the extension into the dwelling. 2,200 feet of 5 inch supply line was laid to support the fire department suppression activities.
Concordville was assisted by Chester Heights Fire Company, Bethel Hose Company, Media Fire Company (RIT) Aston Township Fire Department, Boothwyn Fire Company (RIT) Talleyville Fire Company, Longwood Fire Company, Rocky Run Fire Company, Edgemont Fire Company and MICU 104 from Riddle Hospital. There were no injuries to fire fighters or the residents, the firefighters were on location for just over 3 hours.
