Thursday August 5th for drill the company traveled to West Chester Training Center to use their burn building, but before training could begin Delaware County Fireboard alerted us along with the 1st alarm assignment for a residential building fire in Concord Township.
Chester Heights Fire Company, who was covering our district while we were out, were first on the street. Concordville units quickly responded from West Chester as the rest of the assignment responded from their stations. Companies 66 and 71 arrived to find fire on the outside of a single story residence and quickly had the fire under control. The house was checked for extension and very little was found. The cause is under investigation by the township fire marshals office. Concordville had 20 members respond to this incident.
Thank You to our assisting companies who responded.
