The company was dispatched for a full Commercial Box Alarm for a report of smoke coming from a commercial Car Wash business. On arrival, Engine 592 had heavy smoke on all four sides, with fire showing at roof level of side B with embers dropping from the ceiling area. Entry was made on the A-side of the building with fire, mainly in the attic area of the structure. Lt. 59 assumed command for a working structure fire. Engine 66 took the 2nd due engine utilizing the hydrant on the north side of the fire building and supplied Engine 592 and Tower 46, which was the first due truck company.

Lt. 59 transferred command to Deputy 59 and assumed the Operations role. A partial structural roof collapse on the B-side of the building resulted in the fire being switched to defensive operations with aerial apparatus utilizing master streams to extinguish the fire. Tower 59, Tower 46, Talleyville Ladder 25, Aston Township Ladder 17, Longwood Ladder 25 were used to extinguish the fire. Truck Company Crews were able to enter sections of the building to mop up hot spots. The companies were on location for over 3 hours with traffic being disrupted on 202 in both north and southbound directions while fire suppression activities were ongoing.
