Commercial Building Fire in Concord Township

Friday evening (November 4th 2022) just before 7pm Delaware County Fireboard dispatched the 1st alarm assignment for a commercial building fire in Concord Township. Engine 593 (LT. Caruso) responded just after dispatch with 4, arriving and finding smoke showing from a single story strip shopping center. Crews placed a hand line in service to start fire suppression activities. Fire was quickly knocked down with limited extension. Assisting companies helped with overhaul and ventilation. Cause of the fire is under investigation by township fire marshals office.
