Concordville Fire Company was dispatched on Memorial Day afternoon to an accident with injuries unknown. On arrival, Rescue 59 had two vehicles blocking the intersection with two occupants trapped in an SUV, and a third injured victim from that vehicle self-extricated. Both vehicles remained upright; the Crew utilized a spreader, cutter, and combi tool to remove the passenger side doors to gain access to the driver. The crew utilized a ram across the car from the roof area of the passenger side to the B post of the driver's side to push the post out and free one victim's leg. Both driver-side doors were removed to allow the crew to extricate the victims. Three ambulances were needed to transport the victims to area hospitals.
