On Saturday September 28, 2013, the Concordville Fire Company was invited to participate as an honor company in the 134th Annual Pennsylvania State Fireman’s Convention held in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Members of the department spent the last couple of months detailing the apparatus and equipment for both the parade and judging competition. In total, Company 59 was represented by 24 members and 7 trucks in the parade, 4 of which were registered in the competition across four categories.

Through the countless hours of hard work, pride, and dedication, it is with great honor to say that the Concordville Fire Company won the awards for:

1st Place Best Appearing & Functioning BLS Unit
2nd Place Best Appearing & Functioning Tanker Under 3000 Gallons

Thank you to all of the members that helped with the event.
