On November 16th and 17th the Concordville Fire Company hosted an Aerial Operations Class taught by Lieutenant Michael Wilbur (ret.) of the New York City Fire Department. Members from Station 59, along with firefighters from the Longwood Fire Company and the Springfield Fire Company, participated in over sixteen hours of combination hands-on and classroom based training, reviewing the basic procedures of aerial apparatus and learning advanced operational tactics for effective firefighting. Day one of training consisted primarily of lectures, discussing standard and advanced practices of both defensive and offensive aerial operations. On the second day of training, members went to three different locations within Concord Township to simulate real-time emergency scenarios requiring the proper placement and operation of aerial apparatus.

The Concordville Fire Company would like to thank the following businesses for allowing us to use their facilities to further expand our capabilities and improve our operational capacity to better protect and serve the community.
