On the evening on March 22nd the members and families of the Concordville Fire and Protective Association took the night off from responding to emergencies (just for a few hours) and spent an evening celebrating the previous year. The members gathered at the Ballrooms at Boothwyn for our 86th banquet where after dinner the top ten fire responders were recognized, service awards(ranging from 5 years to 60 years of service) were given out and our current Assistant Chief/ Deputy Concord Township Fire Marshal Bob Vasek was given the president’s award for his dedicated service to our company. Thanks to the banquet committee for again planning a great night for all members as well as our caterer, the Ballrooms at Boothwyn, our DJ and Brookhaven Fire Company who provided coverage to our local while our members enjoyed a night off.
