Passing of Virginia White

The Concordville Fire & Protective Association sadly announces the passing of Virginia (Gingie) White who lost her long heroic battle with cancer on April 16, 2013. Gingie, a Life Member of the Concordville Fire & Protective Association, retired as Office Manager of the Fire Station in 2005, a position she pioneered to help bring our Fire Company to where it is today. Gingie was a tireless contributor to our organization for the benefit of our members and our community. Gingie also held positions in the Concordville Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary up to and including President. Gingie, is the wife of Past Fire Company President and Assistant Chief David White, and Grandmother of Firefighters Samantha and Danielle Ainsworth.
The Officers and Members of the Concordville Fire & Protective Association offer their heartfelt condolences to the entire White family. Gingie served as an inspiration of courage and grace to us all and will be greatly missed by the entire Concordville Fire Company family.
