On Sunday, April 13th, at 12:28 hours, The Fire Company was dispatched to the area of Polecat and Ivy Mills Roads for the report of a brush fire. Units arrived on scene to find several acres burning in the open field area below the electrical lines that are located between Polecat Road and the Huntington Farms Development.

The fire spread rapidly, aided by wind, dry conditions and difficult access to the area of the field that was burning. Several mutual aid companies assisted with their brush trucks and ATV units to extinguish the fire, which burned a total of approximately 10 acres.

The Concord Township Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.

The Concordville Fire Company would like to thank the residents of the Huntington Farms development for their cooperation with allowing us to access the area through their properties.
