Chadds Ford House Fire

Shortly before 11pm Concordville and Mutual Aid Companies were dispatched to the unit block of Camly Lane in Chadds Ford Township for a dwelling fire. Units arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling well involved. 592 and Ladder 25 dropped over 2300 feet of supply line up the narrow street to reach the fire. The crew from 592 pulled the 2 1/2" Blitz line and a 3"line for a blitz fire gun while Ladder 25 used their ladder pipe to knock down the bulk of the fire Tankers were called in to bring water to the scene. Rescue 59 established a dump site for the tankers at the intersection of Camly and Creek, Engine 25-1 was placed in the middle of the supply line to assist in boosting the pressure to the fire ground. A fill site was established on Station Way to refill the tankers. Units were on scene until after 3am. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
