Residental Fire in Concord Township

An early morning fire in Concord Township severely damaged a home on Hunt Meet Lane. Firefighters from Concordville arrived to find two vehicles fully involved in the driveway with extension into the residence. Firefighters from Concordville, Chester Heights, Bethel, Rocky Run, Media (RIT), and Second Alarm included Longwood and Brookhaven being brought into the fire. Holmes Fire Company served as cover company for Concordville. Initial dispatch was shortly after 4am and under control within an hour. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. The fire is being investigated by Concord Township Fire Marshals, Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal, and Delaware County CID.
