Concordville Hosts Pennsylvania State Basic Vehicle Rescue Class

In the beginning of October several members of Concordville along with members from several other area companies took part in a 48 hour long Pennsylvania State Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician Class held at Station 59 and instructed by Chester County Training Center. This class teaches students the basics of vehicle rescue as well as the anatomy of vehicle construction. The students also received a review of basic knots, saw first hand how an air bag deploys as well as using non traditional methods to extricate a patient involved in a motor vehicle accident. The class will be taking their state written exam at Chester County Training Center on October 21st.
