On Saturday February 21st during a snow storm Company 59 was dispatched to assist Chester County Station 25 on a vehicle accident with entrapment. The vehicle had skidded up an embankment approximately 14 feet coming to rest against a telephone pole at the A post (Drivers Door) entrapping the single occupant of the vehicle. Extrication had to be preformed in part by working off of several 12 foot roof ladders to reach the vehicle. The crew from Rescue 59 assisted the Longwood crew in removing the roof and B post to enable the victim to be freed. Both companies were in service approximately hour & half.
