Tuesday Morning 5/26/2015, Concordville Fire Company was dispatched for the Medic and Rescue for a vehicle accident with possible entrapment at Baltimore Pike and State Farm Drive. State Police arrived on scene and reported that the accident involved three vehicles including a dump truck, and confirmed the driver of a sedan was trapped. Medic 59 arrived and stabilized the patient while rescue 59's crew removed the driver and passenger doors to facilitate removal of the patient from his vehicle. Extrication took approximately 20 minutes before the patient was transported to the Crozer Medical Center as a trauma activation. Riddle Hospital ALS and Chester Heights Fire Company assisted on scene.
