On Wednesday May 22 the Concordville Fire Company participated in the mock accident drill hosted by Garnet Valley High School, the Students Against Drug Driving (SADD) organization, and State Farm Insurance. The exercise took place to raise awareness to the potential consequences of driving under the influence. The simulated emergency allowed rescue crews to demonstrate the extrication of trapped victims from motor vehicles, while illustrating to students the devastating effects drunk driving can have. This event took place in conjunction with the Senior class's upcoming prom.
