On Monday 6/15/2015 Concordville Fire and Protective Association was requested to assist the Rachel Kohl Community Library with their Summer Learning Party.
The Summer Learning Party was a way to get local kids into a summer reading program. Engine 593 and Medic 597A were on display from 10:30am to noon. Joining us was the Bethel Township Police Department. While the kids visited the library they got a chance to see the equipment on our apparatus, the medic unit and the police car. Over 130 kids signed up for the summer reading program during this event.
We would like to thank the staff of the Rachel Kohl Library for the invite to this event. Additional information about this event and other the Library is hosting this summer can be found on their Facebook page.
