Major Storm hit Delaware County

Tuesday evening 6/23 a severe storm with hit Delaware County causing numerous trees and wires to go down blocking roadways through out the County. Concordville responded to 32 fire alarms during the 24 hour period during and following the start of the storm. The company responded to 7 automatic alarms, 15 wires on fire calls, 8 auto accidents three reported with entrapment from fallen trees on vehicles and two building fires, as well as numerous EMS calls. The pictures included are of one of the entrapment accidents handled and are reflective of the wide variety of calls experienced during this storm. The accidents with reported entrapment did not have any life threatening injures.
